初恋の詩 First Love Poem

When I released my first music project in 2025, I thought of “first love” beyond romance: every beginning when I entered an unfamiliar world without knowing the outcome, and the feelings that remain in altered forms over time.

I wanted to try AI as a new tool for music as I had for images. I explored whether I could bring my thoughts and feelings into sound without being a professional composer. Making my first music was itself one of the new beginnings the album describes.

I released the piano music generated with Suno with its original form largely intact. I organized five pieces around things that evoke memories: a name, rain, the time after the last train, the night sky and warmth.

I brought my interest in memory, disappearance and cycles from visual work into music. I wanted sound to express how a vanished moment changes in memory and can be felt again.

I made I Still Call Your Name around a first feeling that remains as details fade, and The Sound of Rain Reminds Me of You around memories brought back by rain. After the Last Train Left concerns time between an ending and a new beginning; Looking for Your Shadow in the Night Sky follows traces of memory at night; I Still Remember Your Warmth recalls warmth left in the body.
