I Can Fly

I drew a cat that says “I can fly” but cannot. Through short images and movements, I paired the hope of rising higher with a reality that resists it, humorously expressing crypto culture’s desire for ascent.

I began the project by issuing the Solana-based meme coin ICF on Pump.fun on June 12, 2024. It was an attempt to circulate images and messages through a coin, using the cat’s repeated attempts and failures to gently twist market expectations.

I later focused more on comics and character work than on the coin. Keeping the idea of a black cat that wants to fly, I made easily shared meme art and short stories.
