Omnipresent
A digital drawing and animation that gives a black cat a sacred form

I began with the question “Does God exist?” but did not set out to portray a particular religion’s deity. I placed a cat close to me in that position instead of an unfamiliar transcendent being.
I paired a black body and differently colored, forward-facing eyes with a golden halo. I wanted to show how adding a symbol can change the way we see a being without changing its body.
As the title “Omnipresent” suggests, I wanted to consider sacredness without limiting it to a prescribed appearance. I added movement to my digital drawing in Adobe After Effects for NFT Korea Festival 2023.
